I’m A Celebrity’s Jess Plummer admits Hollie Arnold was allowed a run-through trial

LAST week The Sun revealed how at least once during this series, TV bosses have let contestants see the mechanics of trials beforehand.

Former Jungle runner-up Kim Woodburn was among those who slammed ITV over the decision.

And Jess confirmed that on one of this year’s trials, Bar-baric — in which contestants were padlocked to a wooden bar while offal was tipped on them — paralympian Hollie Arnold was allowed a detailed run-through of what the task would entail.

Contestants had to find keys amid the slime on the floor and turn them in the padlocks to free their comrades and Jess said: “Hollie asked if she could see which way the thing turned.

“But it was Hollie and Hollie alone, just so she could get to grips with what she had to do.”

Last week we told how ITV bosses said they always offer a chance to try any specific parts of trials, to make sure the celebs don’t get stuck on them, which would result in “rubbish telly”.

Jess added: “Exactly. I think they just wanted to make sure it was possible.

After leaving the castle, Jess is now looking forward to spending time with her family — including daughter Noa, four.

She said: “Right now I’m just really looking forward to spending Christmas with my family, and eating some good food — and having long baths.”
