When is the Royal Variety Performance 2020?
The Royal Variety Performance has already been filmed, with performances having taken place on Sunday, November 29.
People wanting to watch at home can catch it TONIGHT (Tuesday, December 8) at 8pm on ITV.
For the first time in nine years filming took place in the north of England, as acts gathered in the Blackpool Opera House at the Winter Gardens Complex.
Who's in the line-up for the Royal Variety Performance?
The line up includes some familiar faces from ITV in the form of actors, singers, magicians and comedians.
The people who supported Captain Sir Thomas Moore earlier this year will be pleased to hear he will feature in the line-up alongside singer Michael Ball.
Captain Moore's heart-warming fundraising efforts raised more than £32million for the NHS.
Then Gary Barlow will take to the stage for a solo performance, as will Melanie C.
Other music acts include Steps and Celeste, the singer behind the John Lewis and Waitrose Christmas advert this year.
Musical theatre fans will be in for a treat too as Sheridan Smith will reprise her role in Cilla The Musical, as will Samantha Barks from Frozen, and Marisha Wallace.
Stand-up comedy will come from Jo Caulfield and Daliso Chaponda, while Britain's Got Talent winner Jon Courtenay will perform one of his comedy songs.
Those more entertained by practical acts will be covered too, as Stephen Mulhern will put on magic while Kenyan acrobats The Black Blues Brothers will perform.
Who's hosting the Royal Variety Performance?
Jason Manford hosted this year's Royal Variety Performance.
The comedian has performed on the show three times in the past since 2009.
The presenting spot is usually taken by a male comedian, and this year is no different.
Will there be a live audience?
No, the show was filmed in an empty venue.
The audience watching the show's recording were able to do so virtually.
Due to social distancing rules and with the show being filmed during a national lockdown, the virtual audience was necessary.
Which Royals will be attending?
The Prince of Wales attended this year, for the first time since 2016.
He said that performers were “incredibly talented” and was pleased to see the event go on in spite of the pandemic.
The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge attended in 2019.
