In tonight's episode, they were seen chatting round the fire when talk turned to a previous ITV celebrity show, Splash!
Former Coronation Street actress Beverley, 63, said she thought it was the "most stupid programme ever".
But Vernon, 46, replied: “It kept my central heating on though Beverley.”
The celebrities then reminded Beverley that Vernon used to present it alongside Gabby Logan when it aired in 2013 and 2014.
Mortified, Beverley said: “Oh no, I’m so sorry, Vernon, I’m so sorry, I’m so sorry" as everyone burst out laughing.
Talking in the Telegraph, Beverley said: “I wanted to curl up and die, poor Vernon. I’m notorious for putting my foot in it, and I really did there.”

One wrote: "Obsessed with Bev telling Vernon Kay, the host of Splash, that she hated Splash."
Another tweeted: "The way Beverley said “that was the most stupid show” I’m f***ing dead. Vernon just sat there like “it pays for the heating, Beverley…”
