I'M A Celebrity star Shane Richie's wife joked their daughter, nine, will teach him to tell the time after his hilarious trial fail.
The ex-EastEnders star, 56, was left scratching his head after he confused three o'clock and nine o'clock in a Castle Coin Challenge with Beverley Callard, 63.
And now Christie Richie has reassured the Corrie legend, and viewers, that the couple's daughter Romanie will give her dad lessons when he eventually leaves the castle.
Posting on Shane's account, she wrote: "Don’t worry Romanie our 9 year old daughter has said she’ll teach Daddy how to tell the time when he get home! ⏰🤣
The joke went down a storm with followers, with one writing: "Loved that".
The actors had to play spot the difference in two near-identical sheds to win the coins to visit Kiosk Cledwyn and take a treat back to camp.
But one glaringly obvious difference nearly eluded Shane.
During the challenge, Shane asked Bev: "Does your clock say nine o'clock?"
She replied: "Yes it does."
But when Shane checked his clockface again, he realised he'd made a big error.
Raising his hands to his head, he squealed: "What am I talking about? Bev, mine says 3 o'clock.
"Why did I even say nine o'clock?"
Speaking afterwards, a stunned Beverley said: "It's an education working with Shane because I now realise he can't tell the time."
Meanwhile Shane revealed that he hasn't worked for a year and was rejected by the Mr Tumble movie.
The actor spoke to Giovanna Fletcher about being cut from TV shows and movies.
Giovanna complained that she had to talk herself up to appear on Towie alongside her brother Mario Falcone.
Shane replied: "It happens to all of us. I've done stuff in the past when I thought, hey, I'm in this movie, and I've watched it and I'm not in it and they've cut me."
He added: "I got turned down this year by Mr Tumble. So, we're all out of work, my manager rings up and says I've put you up for this part, they're making this movie before they go into lockdown and they want you to play a cheeky copper.
"No. Don't want him. Didn't even get back to me."
The actor continued: "I've starred with Hugh Jackman, Kate Winslet, and I'm thinking yeah I'm ready for Mr Tumble and no. Even Mr Tumble didn't want to work with me."
Giovanna replied: "Sometimes you're just not wanted. And that's ok. You sort of keep riding the wave. Sometimes Towie doesn't want you. Sometimes Mr Tumble doesn't want you but someone will."
Mr Tumble - played by Justin Fletcher MBE - is a children's entertainer known for his slapstick comedy.
The Alfie Moon star previously told The Sun that he would be using his I'm A Celeb fee to pay off his debts.
He revealed: “We were going to fit it around my other work as I was going on tour, doing a TV series and panto — but that all got cancelled in March.
“And now I am literally skint. You save money for a rainy day but you don’t expect the rainy day to last six months.
“Thankfully I’ve been able to borrow money from mates, my family and the bank and my wife is now very happy we can finally pay off the credit card!”
