With his eyes moving, the artwork began whispering to the pair, ordering them to prank their fellow campmates in order to win their luxury items.
Thankfully, they managed to secure all 12 items - but viewers were more preoccupied with who the voice behind the painting was, with the character speaking with a distinctive Welsh accent.
Many claimed that it sounded similar to 32-year-old Joe, who is actually from Birmingham.
Taking to Twitter, one fan wrote: "Someone tell me that Jester ain’t Joe Lycett doing a welsh accent #ImACeleb".
Another agreed: "You cannot convince me this isn't @joelycett with a fake accent."
A third added: "Is that the voice of @joelycett as the jester?"
Joe, who previously voiced BBC One show Epic Win and presented BBC's The Great British Sewing Bee, has not commented on the speculation.
Others were distracted by how unnerving the speaking painting was - including campmate Giovanna Fletcher's husband Tom, who claimed their sons would be "having nightmares" after watching.
