I'M A Celebrity viewers freaked out during last night's Bushtucker Trial as they heard the faint crying of a baby inside haunted Gwrych Castle.
The famous contestants seemed oblivious to the weeping infant amid the excitement of the Laughing Stocks challenge - but it didn't escape fans at home.
As the stars descended the castle's stone steps to the trial area, a child could be heard very faintly.
One viewer wrote on Twitter: "Definitely could hear ababycrying as they walk down the stairs heading to the trial tonight.."
Another posted: "The babycrying on freaking me out."
A third asked: "Anyone else hear the baby cry when the celebrities was walking to the trail well freaky for it was my babycrying."
The castle has a long history of paranormal activity, and a ghostly figure was spotted in a window just days ago while crew members are said to be reluctant to work on set at night time.
Last night's trial saw opera singer Russell Watson and West End star Ruthie Henshall make their debut in camp.
Ruthie was trapped in stocks and had to read the first part of a joke, while Russell had to find the punchline hidden in a barrel containing various nasties using only his mouth.
The klaxon sounded and Ruthie was immediately covered in rotten tomatoes as she read the first part of a joke.
Russell ducked his head into a barrel of slime and found the punchline straight away.
But things went bad as Russell chipped a tooth in the barrel, much to the amusement of the other celebs.
Viewers could not understand how the singer managed to chip his tooth on the liquids in the barrells.
One Twitter wrote: "How do you chip your tooth on rotten tomatoes?
Another added: "CHIPPED TOOTH. TAINTED MOUTHS. these could affect your amazing talents. WHY DO THIS."
And a third said: "Tooth fairy is coming for Russell tonight."
The celebs and hosts couldn't help but poke fun at the opera singer.
Dec said he would struggle to sing Nessun Dorma, the famous Aria from Puccini's Turandot opera.
Ever the good sport, Russell started singing it while hamming up the whistle from the new gap in his teeth.
Russell later revealed to his campmates that he chipped his tooth on the side of the barrel.
Twelve stars were up for grabs, with each star worth a meal for camp.
The interval was called Eye Scream and was worth two stars.
