I’m A Celebrity fans accuse Bev Callard of CHEATING by ‘eating rabbit and eel’ – then claiming to be vegan in the trial
I'M A Celebrity fans have accused Beverley Callard of lying about being vegan to cheat her way out of eating gross bits of animal in a Bushtucker trial.
The Coronation Street actress, 63, took part in the vomit-inducing Fright of the Round Table trial last night with Vernon Kay and Jordan North.

But she escaped horror plates such as sheep's penis, cow’s tongue and deer testicles because she's vegan.
Some viewers said Bev only revealed the dietary requirement to avoid the gruesome grub.
One viewer asked: ";Didn’t she have rabbit and eel the 2 nights previous?!"
Another fumed: “Being a vegan is cheating on an eating challenge in I’m A Celeb surely? Fermented plums and tofu against testicles and penis?”
They grew even more suspicious when she revealed she's only been following the plant-based diet since March.
However, The Sun can reveal she turned to the diet before signing up for the ITV reality show.

The food she ate was also highly unpleasant, according to crew, and made two veteran workers ill.
A source said: “Fermented plums and tofu are absolutely horrendous and will leave a taste in the mouth for hours afterwards. And vomit fruit is like eating your own sick. It’s not a walk in the park by any stretch.
“Bev has been a vegan since before she signed up for the show. So unless she had a crystal ball she hasn’t done it to cheat.”
The source added: “Some of the crew have worked on the show for years and test the trials every year. When they were running through this specific trial, the two people who had the dishes that Bev had to eat were both sick.
“The fermented plums and tofu are worse than any animal willy.”
Confused viewers pointed out she had been seemingly eating meat every night - with quail, eel and rabbit on the menu in the first three nights in Gwrych Castle, North Wales.
But we can also reveal she has been secretly getting separate vegan portions at mealtimes.
A castle source added: “Most years there’s someone with an allergy, or a food preference, so producers always provide an alternative.”
Other viewers also criticised Bev for having fruit on the same plate as an egg omelette - a no-no for vegans.
The trial is a firm favourite with fans every series, but many said the gruesome meals on offer turned their stomachs.
Corrie's Bev said she hoped she’d be served a hot pot and a chip butty from the Rovers Return, but was instead told she'd be getting vegan dishes.
Dec explained there were ten dishes for ten stars, with everyone facing two dishes while the other four were decided at random.

Vernon was first up with lamb rank which was sheep’s brain. He had to eat half of the meal presented on the plate.
He managed to get the first star for camp, and afterwards he said: “It was like a really bad pate that’s been left in the sun for five weeks festering.”

Beverley was served vomit fruit dubbed a cheese fruit vomlette, while Jordan was given a steak and eye-le pie, also known as goats eyes.
The next round saw Beverley spin the centre of the table and whoever the sword landed on had to eat the next dish.
It stopped on Vernon who was presented with turn nips pie, a cow’s teat.
Jordan was next to spin the table, and the sword landed on himself, much to everyone’s amusement.
His dish was medieval spew, or fermented catfish. Jordan downed it and everyone cheered. He said: “That was hideous, like gone off fish.”

Vernon was next with nuts roast - deer testicles - but he struggled to chew and keep it down.
After throwing up into the bucket near him, Vernon gave it another go and got a star for camp.
