I’M A CELEB late arrival Ruthie Henshall has revealed how Prince Charles once played a prank on her while she was dating his brother Prince Edward.
The West End star, 53, was romantically involved with him on and off for five years and remains on good terms with the royal, now 56.

She recalled how Charles and Edward had a laugh while she “was having a cook-out with them” by a loch in Scotland.
Ruthie said: “They told me there were ghosts in this particular place and when I went to the toilet with a candle — as there was no electricity — they waited for me to come out and then jumped out on me.
“I screamed the place down! They were hilarious.”
Musicals star Ruthie’s I’m A Celeb arrival was teased at the end of tonight’s show.

She will be seen fully alongside another latecomer, opera singer Russell Watson, in tomorrow’s episode.
Ruthie said of the royals: “I have no idea whether they watch or not. But I am sure they enjoy reality TV as much as the rest of us!
“I’m really looking forward to going in.
