I'M A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here!'s Vernon Kay broke down in tears over fears he won't make his children proud on the ITV reality show.
The 46-year-old presenter was among the 10 stars to enter the show's new castle this evening, and he couldn't hide his emotions in his introductory video trailer.
Speaking to the camera, Vernon explained: "The thing for me is, doing it for the kids, I want Amber and Phoebe to really enjoy me in it.
"Every time I mention the show they just go, 'Yes!' And I go, 'Oh my god, I hope I don't let them down'."
The star was visibly overcome with emotion and his voice cracked as he gestured at his face while exclaiming: "That's why I keep welling up!"
Vernon shares 16-year-old Phoebe and 11-year-old Amber with wife Tess Daly, who he married in 2003.
This evening, Tess took to Instagram to share her first photo of the girls - with she and Vernon hugely protective of their privacy.
The beaming family snap showed Amber and Phoebe in the middle of their famous parents as they all posed for the camera.
Strictly host Tess threw her support behind her husband in the post's caption, writing: "GOOD LUCK VERNON❤️ After not being able to see him for what feels like AGES me & the girls can’t wait to watch Vern on tonight’s first @imacelebrity and see how he fares in the Castle!🕷🐛

Before going into the castle, Vernon had to self-isolate in Wales for two weeks to ensure that he didn't catch coronavirus.
This means that this year's stars had already spent a huge amount of time away from their loved ones before the three-week show even launched.
However it all appears to have been worth it, with I'm A Celeb fans thrilled by the return of the show this evening.
