I’m A Celeb fans stunned as Jessica Plummer reveals she was in girl band Neon Jungle before finding fame in EastEnders

I'M A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here! fans were left stunned this evening as Jessica Plummer revealed that she was in girl group Neon Jungle.

Viewers had no idea that the 28-year-old actress was one of the band's four members - and flocked to Twitter to share their reaction.

Jessica is now mostly known for playing Chantelle Atkins in EastEnders, with her character being killed off earlier this year in a harrowing domestic abuse storyline.

But the beauty has proven herself as an incredible singer and dancer as well as an impressive actress - joining Neon Jungle in 2013.

The four-piece girl group also consisted of Shereen Cutkelvin, Amira McCarthy, and Asami Zdrenka.

They peaked at number four in the UK singles chart with second single Braveheart.

The band split in 2015 after releasing just one album, Welcome To The Jungle.

Jessica mentioned her popstar fame in her introductory video trailer on tonight's I'm A Celeb launch - and fans couldn't believe they didn't know already.

One viewer tweeted: "I can’t believe Jess was in the group neon jungle!!! How did I miss this?"

Another agreed: "Anybody else not know Jessica was in Neon Jungle?!"

A third wrote: "F**K RIGHT OFF! why didn’t i know that jess was in neon jungle omfg legend!"

I'm A Celeb fans were thrilled with the return of the ITV reality show this evening, with Jessica and nine other stars making their way into camp for the first time tonight.
