MUMMY MISSES YOU

I’m A Celeb’s Jessica Plummer breaks down in tears missing her daughter as she enters the castle

JESSICA Plummer has broken down in tears just hours into her I’m A Celebrity experience.

The EastEnders actress suffered an emotional breakdown over missing her young daughter, Noa, 4.

Sitting above the camp on the lookout bench Jessica became emotional and started to cry.

Victoria Derbyshire rushed over to comfort her and asked what was wrong.

Jessica explained: “I said to my daughter before we left each other that if she misses me when she’s at home, she looks for the moon, I can look at the moon and we can both see it.”

“Let’s have a cwtsh, the Welsh word for cuddle,” suggested Victoria as the pair and Giovanna and Hollie shared a hug.

Jessica soon cheered up and said: “We’re all in the same situation and we’re all in it together.

“This is the experience of a lifetime and I want to make my family proud so they don’t want to see me crying and upset.”

The actress – whose EastEnders character Chantelle Atkins was murdered by her husband Gray earlier this year – previously admitted she would find being away from Noa heartbreaking.

The 28-year-old said: “It is strange. The closer we get to it now, the more excited I am to do the show.

“But the more daunting it is to think I am potentially not gonna see her for up to three weeks, which is heartbreaking.

She added: “She is my little girl. It is gonna be really weird but I hope I make her proud.

“I have recorded messages for her like, ‘Good morning Noa’.

“I’ve recorded up to three weeks worth just in chase I am in it for the long haul, so she’ll have a message from me every day.

“She’s around family so she’ll be fine, but it will be strange.”
