Holby City’s Cameron actor warns fans will be ‘shouting at screens’ as he pulls off his most evil scheme yet
HOLBY City star Nic Jackman has said viewers will be cursing their screens following his latest, darkest scheme.
Twisted character Cameron Dunn will leave BBC soap fans hurling abuse at the TV after pulling off his most sinister moves yet.
The actor, 25, revealed events were about to become much 'darker' and 'much worse' than ever before.
He told the : “The storylines coming up are massive and I think are going to be really, really quite exciting.
“I mean if you think that you've seen Cameron at his worst, you really haven't, because he's capable of a lot more and it becomes very, very dark.”
The star admitted he was shocked by how sinister some of the storylines he's read as part of his Holby character.
The actor said: “I get scripts and I read them and have sort of those moments where I go, 'Oh my God!’
“Because of what he does - and I'll actually say that - I have to go out for a walk and take a breather because it's massive.”
Nic continued: “The show's coming back bigger and bolder than ever and there are some huge storylines coming up, which I think will grip audiences.
“I think many, many audience members will be shouting at the telly, mainly at Cameron."
Could that involve Dr Nicky McKendrick (Belinda Owusu) who started dating the secretly evil doc earlier this year?
The actor said previously of his evil character getting hate mail from viewers: "Online or through posts, through letters, you can get quite harsh things said about you and you just want to say 'it's not me, it's my character'.
"That's the biggest challenge."
Fans are relieved as Casualty and Holby City will keep filming through lockdown, it has been reported.
The medical dramas - which are both on hiatus since the first lockdown shut down production - will continue to film after making their sets covid secure.
An industry insider said: "The soaps all have strict safety protocols in place making it safe to continue filming.
"As it stands there will be no need for the soaps to halt production or to come off air."
Each soap are well into producing their December episodes now having gotten ahead during the first shutdown.
