Who is Ivan Hall?
, 29, was one of the 32 contestants fighting to steal heart on season 16 of The Bachelorette.
A graduate of Texas Tech University, Hall has a degree in Aeronautical Engineering and after graduating in 2015, got a job at Lockheed Martin, a Maryland-based company that builds jets for the military.
Hall is also a family man. He is very close to his mom and said he talks to her every day.
"My parents have always made my brother and I the biggest priority in their life and that is exactly the way I will raise and love my future kids. They provided me with everything I could ever want or need growing up. ... I can never fully repay them but will continue to try for the rest of my life. I love you, Mom and Dad," Hall said about his parents.
His nationality is half-Black and half-Filipino, and was the first Blasian contestant in the show's history.

Back in February 2021, Hall voiced his opinions about the former host, comments to former contestant
Hall revealed that he would most likely not come back to the franchise with Harrison as the host.
"Going forward, I honestly don't know how this will all shake out, but for myself for example, if they have future shows and if they were to ask me to be on Bachelor in Paradise or something like that — and I'm sure a lot of other contestants feel this way as well — I wouldn't feel comfortable if Chris is there, to be quite frank," Hall told People magazine.
"I'm not saying he can't make a recovery, can't learn from all of this, but, you know ... it would just be too soon, really."
"I think he needs to take some time really look into himself and really just have a lot of tough conversations and understand why he believes the things he believes at this point in his life," Hall concluded.

Season 7 of Bachelor in Paradise is set to air August 16, 2021.

Despite controversy over Harrison, Hall will be back and even revealed to People that he did actually enjoy his time on the show.
"The producers took care of me," he recalled. "They showed my BLM talk. They showed my brother who is a felon with teardrops. And they made my family and my story look amazing for America. So I'm very appreciative of all that."
