Coronation Street’s Helen Flanagan teases epic Rosie Webster return for soap’s 60th anniversary
CORONATION Street star Helen Flanagan has said she will definitely return to the soap and would love to be a part of its upcoming 60th anniversary.
The actress - who plays Rosie Webster in the ITV soap - took a break from the show to expand her family in 2018.
On-screen Rosie was sent off to Japan to host a gameshow where she has remained, but Helen would love to bring her back.
"It's such an amazing show, I'd love to be part of the 60th," she told .
The soap will celebrate its 60th anniversary in December with a host of explosive and dramatic storylines.
Helen added: "I watch Corrie all the time, and feel really proud to have been a part of it.
"It was a massive part of my life – I've been in since I was nine, and in and out in my 20s.
"I miss the excitement of filming, miss the night shoots, miss my acting.
"I miss my chats in the morning with the make-up girls, I really, really miss that... I miss everything about it, but my girls come first right now."
Helen has two daughters, Matilda and Delilah, with footballer partner Scott Sinclair and is expecting her third child.

However she did tell how she is desperate for a return to Corrie.
She said: "I definitely would love to go back.
"I would love to go back at some point, I really really would."
