And now Scott will use their secret past to force the landlord into doing his dodgy dealings.
Next week’s episodes of Coronation Street will see Scott reveal that Ray has offered him another job working on some property.
Determined to destroy his opportunity, Johnny tells Ray that Scott has been in prison and can’t be trusted.
Meanwhile, Scott tells Johnny about his plan to scam Ray and wonders if he’d like to join forces.
But Johnny insists his criminal days are behind him.
When Scott discovers that Johnny put Ray off hiring him, Scott confronts Johnny and reveals he now owes him one.
Scott then threatens to blab about their unsavoury past to Jenny, unless Johnny agrees to help him with his latest plan.
When Johnny reluctantly agrees, Scott tells him that his job will be to drive the getaway car.
Scott steps up the threats later when Johnny does his best to avoid him, and promises to tell Jenny everything.
Will Johnny comply?

Actor Tom Roberts - who plays Scott - previously spoke about his character's dark side.
Speaking to Metro.co.uk, the actor revealed: "[Scott] is a very charismatic guy, he’s got a bit of a swagger and he is very confident.
"It becomes obvious pretty much straight away, as soon as Johnny clocks him, that there is a past there. It takes quite a lot to frighten Johnny, he’s no pushover and he is quite a strong guy."
He continued: "So viewers will know from the outset that this outwardly charming, funny man with his witty lines and his confidence is not all that he seems."
