POWER Book 2: Ghost has been renewed for a second season - and show bosses promise that the franchise will 'never end'.
The confirmation came as Starz announced the news with a short video on their Instagram profile.
As scenes from the popular show appear, the words "Season 2 is coming #powerneverends" are shown.
The surprise video was accompanied by the caption: "We thought we told you that we won’t stop.
"Season 2 about to be even more 🔥 #PowerGhost #PowerNeverEnds".
Fans were quick to react to the news and one wrote: "Yasssssss😍😍👏👏👏".
"Lmao 😂😭 i can’t live without #Power," added another.
A third commented: "Bring it!!!💝💝".
The spin-off TV series first aired at the beginning of September on Starz.
The action picked up on where Power left off, with Tariq (Michael Rainey Jr) perusing his education as he father wished.
Rainey Jr recently spoke tabout his hopes for a second season of the series.
He told : "We'll see - hopefully.
"That's all up to, you know, production and stuff like that. Hopefully that definitely does happen."
While his co-star LaToya Tonodeo, who plays Diana Tejada in the American drama, also confessed she was "rooting" for a follow up.
She said: "I feel like we could definitely get to season two.
"I'm here for that because I really love being around this cast, everyone is like family and just so friendly and fun."
Tonodeo added: "We hang out outside so I'm definitely not ready to say goodbye to that, so I'm definitely up for season two, for sure."
