Coronation Street fans break down as Leanne is told son Oliver is dying – as Nick discovers he has a son with Natasha
CORONATION Street fans have broken down in tears as Leanne Battersby was told her son Oliver was dying - as her partner Nick Tilsley discovered he has a son.
The legal secretary - who is played by actress Jane Danson in the ITV soap - refused to accept the tragic news that doctors were recommending turning her young son Oliver’s life support off.

The doctor told her and Steve: “Oliver’s seizures aren’t subsiding as we’d like.
“We’ve sedated him to control them. We’ll continue to monitor Oliver and if the situation warrants then we’ll reduce the sedation and if that goes as planned we’ll try to extubate.
“But I want you to be prepared - there’s a possibility that extubation might not be a viable option.
“I understand this is difficult to contemplate and of course we’ll do all we can, but you should prepare yourself - Oliver may not be able to recover from this."

Steve was left devastated, but Leanne refused to accept what she had been told.
Elsewhere in another room in the hospital, her partner Nick overheard his ex Natasha Blakeman talking about having a nine-year-old son - and making it clear he was Nick’s.
Fans were left in bits by the scenes and broke down in tears at the sad scenes surrounding Oliver.
