GABBY Thomas is devastated next week in Emmerdale as Jai Sharma snubs her from a family holiday - and Leyla ditches her for Liam.
The teenager has been wallowing in her misery ever since the sudden departure of her mum at the end of last year.

Bernice left Emmerdale village after her other daughter Dee Dee’s dad Charlie was badly injured, and has since cut all ties with the village and sold her salon.
And viewers know that Gabby has been acting out ever since, with Leyla recently horrified to discover that Gabby had been the one stalking and terrorising her.
But the wedding planner took a sympathetic stance and decided to befriend Gabby, who admitted she was struggling without Bernice, and offered her an apprenticeship at Take a Vow.
Next week’s episodes of Emmerdale will see Gabby arrive and celebrate starting college over a drink with Leyla.
But later, when Leyla crosses paths with Liam, he persuades her to ditch the plans she’s made with Gabby and join him for a meal.
When Gabby turns up later dressed for a night out, Leyla is forced to tell her she’s made other arrangements.
Later in the week, Laurel tells Gabby that she can’t afford to pay for a flight to Ibiza when she announces that she’s joining Leyla on a work trip in Ibiza - much to Gabby's dismay.
Later, Jai comes home and tells Laurel he’s whisking her away on holiday.
Gabby is gutted to realise that he hasn’t thought to include her.
Gabby storms out and joins a drunken fresher’s night out to forget her worries.
Speaking about Leyla’s sympathetic reaction to discovering Gabby had been stalking her, actress Roxy Shahidi told the : “Leyla can be very empathetic, forgiving and understanding, but equally she will stick up for herself and won’t be walked all over.”
Talking about the hurt Gabby caused her character, Roxy added: "After the incident in the office she tells Liam she’s scared someone is going to stab her in her own bed.

“Literally using those words, because every part of her world is being invaded. It’s terrifying and very real to have someone in your space like that.
“Leyla doesn’t just cower in the corner though, she throws something at them, but she’s definitely very scared. Being broken into and someone hiding in the dark is the climax of all the scary events.”
