Coronation Street shock as Ali Neeson is sent to prison over Gary Windass assault – months after fleeing Weatherfield
CORONATION Street’s Ryan Connor reveals his brother Ali Neeson has been sent to prison over his assault on Gary Windass – six months after fleeing Weatherfield.
The hot-headed doctor Ali Neeson was arrested for assaulting arch-enemy Gary Windass after he drugged him.
Poor Ryan made the admission to his girlfriend Alya after the two arrived home following her row with evil Geoff at Speed Dahl.
Revealing the news, he told her Ali had been sentenced to four months in prison but didn’t tell her anything else other than he’d only heard that morning.
Ali became increasingly unstable back in March when he left hospital following a drug overdose.
He tried to convince Ryan that he’d been spiked by Gary as revenge for sleeping with his fiancée Maria Connor but he just sounded paranoid.

After being suspended from work for his perceived addiction issues, Ali abducted Maria and bundled her in a car to try and convince her of Gary’s evil plan.
Once he’d let her go, Maria told Gary what he’d said and he reassured her it was a pack of lies – before he smugly told Ali that he did actually drug him.
Understandably furious, Ali launched a vicious physical attack on Gary, punching him in the face and kicking him to the ground.
