How can I apply to become an Emmerdale extra?
Leeds-based agency Star Casting is on the hunt for people to feature in scenes across the Yorkshire-based village.
Successful applicants may get to appear in scenes set in the shop or the legendary Woolpack pub, and might even get the chance to speak a line or two.
A spokesperson told : “If you're fun, friendly, punctual and want to be on TV.
"Have the ability to listen and take directions whilst on set. All ages and diverse artists welcome."
The casting agency also provides junior extras, who typically feature in scenes at the park, school and at events dotted around the village.
Star Casting has also worked with the likes of ITV’s Coronation Street, Channel 4’s Hollyoaks and BBC’s Peaky Blinders, and would be a great way for budding actors to secure their first on-screen debut.

Where is Emmerdale filmed?
When Emmerdale first hit our screens back in 1972, it was filmed in the village of Arncliffe in North Yorkshire.
In 1975, the fictional village moved to West Yorkshire in order to cut production costs and was filmed in another real-life village, Esholt in Shipley.
The exterior scenes of the soap were filmed at Esholt for 22 years but by 1998 local residents had grown tired of the production crew’s presence and the tourists Emmerdale was attracting.
ITV then set up a replica of Esholt on the outskirts of Leeds for external filming.
Interior scenes are shot at ITV’s studio in the city.
