THE WITCHER has given fans a glimpse behind the scenes of how they created the terrifying monsters and show how the brutal battles are brought to life in a new documentary.

Based on the best-selling fantasy series of books, The Witcher stars Man of Steel actor Henry Cavill as the titular character.

Netflix has released Making The Witcher, an original documentary that explores the creation of the fantasy show.

Based on Andrzej Sapkowski's novels, The Witcher is an epic tale of fate and family with the stories of each character intertwined in lots of complex and confusing ways.

Fans have taken to The Witcher thanks to its clever plot twists and intricate effects, and it helps that lead stars Henry Cavill and Anya Charlota are both very easy on the eye.

Set on the fictional realm called the Continent, humans, elves, witchers, gnomes, and monsters battle to survive and thrive.

The first-look trailer gives a glimpse at interviews with series creator Lauren Schmidt and lead actor Cavill, along with other cast and crew members.

Teasing the documentary, fans can see how the special and practical effects trickery are used to create some of the monsters and settings. 

It also showcases the extensive training that Cavill and the rest of the cast had to undergo for its fighting scenes.

The Witcher is now streaming worldwide on Netflix, while Making The Witcher is also available to stream now.
