The family announced on their blog in April that they were moving for Derick’s new job in Oklahoma, per .

The family relocated to the border of Oklahoma and Arkansas in May.

“We moved!! It’s been a crazy several weeks for us, but we are finally settling into our new place!” read the blog post.

“In between all of that, we bought a home on the Arkansas/Oklahoma border (in Siloam Springs), had a few renovations done and then moved in.

“We appreciate all the prayers during this crazy and exciting season of transition!” concluded the post.

The two lovebirds also gave birth to another son, Frederick, on July 7, 2022.

“‘Freddy’ Frederick Michael Dillard is here!  He was born 7/7/2022 at 5:16pm weighing 7lbs. 6oz. and is 20 inches long,” shared the two on their official blog.

“Frederick means ‘Peaceful Ruler’ and Michael means ‘Gift from God.'”

The name is even more special as it is a variation of Derick’s name.

“Similarly, Derick’s name is a variation of his late dad’s name, Rick, that his parents created by adding ‘de’ to the front of Rick to spell, ‘de’-‘rick,’ literally meaning son ‘of’ (de) Rick,” shared the couple.

“We were excited to settle on the name Frederick and incorporate both Derick’s and his dad’s name, by just adding ‘Fre’ to the beginning of Derick’s name.”

Freddie arrived a day before their son Samuel’s birthday.

Who are Jill Duggar’s children?

On Sunday, February 27, 2022, Jill and Derick announced that they were expecting their third child together.

“We are excited to announce that God has answered our prayers and we are expecting our rainbow baby due July 2022!” Jill and Derick wrote through the Dillard family blog.

“We are so thankful for a healthy baby and pregnancy so far, and we look forward to finding out the gender soon!”

Rainbow baby is a term for a child conceived post-miscarriage, which is something Jill suffered in 2021.

The blog post continued: “Ever since we were devastated last fall by the miscarriage of our sweet baby, River Bliss, we have prayed that, if it was God’s will, he would bless us with another baby.”

The beloved couple finally welcomed their third son in July, making them a healthy family of five.

Israel was born in 2015, with Samuel coming along in 2017.

Why did Jill Duggar leave Counting On?

In 2017, Derick Dillard was fired from Counting On after he shared tweets criticizing TLC transgender star, Jazz Jennings.

In , he referred to Jennings using a masculine pronoun.

“I pity Jazz, 4 those who take advantage of him in order 2 promote their agenda, including the parents who allow these kinds of decisions 2 be made by a child,” Derick said at the time.

“It’s sad that ppl would use a juvenile this way. Again, nothing against him, just unfortunate what’s on tv these days.”

TLC later released a statement saying they had cut ties with Derick.

Following the incident, Jill decided to step back from the spotlight as well.

The couple exclusively told The Sun at the time that Jill’s father, Jim Bob, had banned them from the family home because he “worried about the influence” they may have on his children.

Derick previously described how the estrangement has also affected their relationship with Jill’s siblings.

He said: “Our visitation to the Duggar house has been restricted and that is where they and their spouses hang out.

“We have not been able to see other family as much as we would like, so that is difficult.”
