THE 100 show boss has promised that the final reason will resolve all of fans' "unanswered questions" from across the series.
Jason Rothenberg spoke out at the Comic-Con@Home yesterday afternoon and lifted the lid on some of the shows biggest secrets - including why the bunker was empty in season 4.

He explained: "We definitely started the season wanting to make sure we didn’t leave anything on the field, meaning there were certain unanswered questions over the seasons we wanted to answer.
"Why was the bunker empty when they opened it in season 4? Is a question I always had and wanted to answer this year."
He went on to explain that things will finally all make sense for viewers at the end of the American post-apocalyptic drama.
Jason added: "The ending of a story is the moral of that story and we really wanted to say something with this season, which I think when people do get to the end and see how the story ends they’ll perhaps come to look at the whole series differently.

"We’re not just saying people are awful and will do anything to protect their loved ones and kill anybody who’s taking their stuff, which is unfortunately a big part of human nature.
"We’re kind of making more of a statement about that."
The science fiction drama series, which first aired back in 2014, is currently airing its final season.
