Where was Cursed filmed? Locations for the Netflix drama revealed
CURSED is a new series on Netflix that has been described as The Hunger Games meets Games of Thrones.
So like these two big TV and movie hits, Cursed has its own elaborate set and picturesque locations.

Where was Cursed on Netflix filmed?
You might be pleased to hear that Cursed was filmed closer to home than expected.
The majority of the series was filmed in leafy Surrey, but shoots also took place in Wales, Gloucestershire, and other UK locations as reported by Atlas of Wonders.
Here's the lowdown on where filming took place.
Surrey
In terms of studio shooting, most of the series used Langley Film Studios in Slough, Berkshire.
The crew built the village of Hawksbridge on an old army training ground in Deepcut, which is a military base in Surrey.
Frensham Little Pond was the setting of Nimue's home village.
Virginia Water, with is beautiful cascading waterfall, was used too.
Cornwall
Holywell Bay is a sandy beach near Newquay.
When arrived to film, it was reported that crew brought a mobile stable for roughly 30 horses.
Wiltshire
Tithe Barn in Bradford-on-Avon is the location for Yvoire Abbey.
It's a 14th century building, originally used by the monastery.
Gloucestershire
Puzzlewood and the Clearwell Caves in Forest of Dean were the locations used for the Fey Land and Nemos sanctuary.
This location has featured in productions before, including Star Wars: The Force Awakens, Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows and The Huntsman Winter's War.
London
A small amount of filming took place in London - Nimue’s coronation was shot in St. Bartholomew-the-Great Church.
It's a medieval temple you've likely seen on screen before in The Avengers: Age of Ultron, Transformers: The Last Knight and Snow White and the Huntsman.

North Wales was used for its landscapes, such as Snowdonia National Park.
Other parts of Wales used include the slate caverns in Llanfair, which are a tourist spot, and the slate quarry at Moel Tryfan.

Ffynnon Llugwy in the Carneddau mountain range and Nant y Benglog in Capel Curig were used for shooting too.

In south Wales, Tretower Court near Crickhowell was featured - it's a large tower with four floors and stone walls that are nine feet thick, according to Wales Online.
It sits next to a restored medieval house which was build during the Wars of the Roses.
