Coronation Street fans in tears as Yasmeen tells abuser Geoff that it’s over – but fear for her safety
CORONATION Street fans are overjoyed as Yasmeen vows to never go back to abusive husband Geoff, but fans fear for her safety.
After a intense phone call between the pair, the Speed Daal co-owner finally stood up to evil hospital DJ after the revealing conversation with another woman abused by Geoff, Elaine.

Yasmeen looked astonished when Elaine revealed some of the same things she went through with Geoff were the exact same things she had endured.
Elaine mentioned how Geoff convinced her she was an alcoholic and put crosses around the house where he wanted to clean, just like he did with Yasmeen.
Convinced she had heard enough Yasmeen got up to leave when Elaine told her to visit the prison library and read books on coercive control, to gain more of an understanding of what Geoff had done to her.
Later, Yasmeen's prison friend Lucie Fernsby gave her a book on coercive control and encouraged her to read it.

The chat with Elaine seemed to give Yasmeen some newfound confidence as she decided to use her illegal phone to call Geoff.
The exchange began well, as she seemed to use his devious tactics and manipulate him into thinking she wanted to get back home and be his wife again.
The magician loved this and told his wife he loved her and asked that she say it back, but for the first time in a long time, Yasmeen refused one of his orders.
The conversation went up a notch as Yasmeen brought up Elaine and accused him of abusing multiple women.
She had finally reached the end of her tether as she declared: "You manipulated me and I fell for it, but I shall not again. I will never ever go back to you again!"
Geoff was seething and ended the call with one last threat as he yelled: "Get used to the view from your window, because you're going to be in that prison for a very, very long time!"

Fans were happy Yasmeen has finally snapped free of Geoff's control, but were also concerned for her safety and was think she is better off in prison where Geoff cannot get to her.
