Netflix’s Cursed star talks second season plan after ‘amazing launchpad’ finale – with first series ‘just the beginning’
NETFLIX fantasy series Cursed was "only just beginning" as the first season wrapped, according to Devon Terrell.
The actor, who plays King Arthur in the sci-fi re-telling of the Frank Miller and Tom Wheeler book of the same name, appeared almost convinced a second instalment is in store.
His character joins forces with that of Lady of the Lake Nimue, a fiery young woman with a mysterious gift who recently lost her mother.
The pair team up in an attempt to find Merlin and deliver an ancient sword, as part of an overall quest to help mercenary Arthur get on to the throne of Camelot.
American actor Devon, 27, told how episode 10 "really all came together" for Arthur and Nimue, played by 13 Reasons Why star Katherine Langford, and said to Digital Spy: “Oh, wow, this world is potentially only just beginning."
He added: "I think it really all came together at the end.
"The way they've done it, I was like, 'this is amazing.' Because now you've met the people, and it's like we're leaning into their legacies, or the mythology of those characters."
Musing over a new series, the Barry film star said: "I honestly don't know where my character's going.
"[Showrunner] Tom [Wheeler] hasn't told me yet. But if there is a season two, I think the finale is an amazing launching pad for that, because for me, personally, the show just gets better and better.
"I love where we end it. Fingers crossed. Hopefully everybody watches.

"But there's so much room to grow.
"It just feels like the beginning – we just scratched the surface of what the show could be, and how far it could go.”
Reviews have previously described the series as having "Game of Thrones level gore."
It was granted four stars by Sun reviewer Jamie East, so we're sure fans will be begging for more
