What happened to Moira in Emmerdale?
IN the latest dramatic story line in Emmerdale, Moira Barton is at the centre of it.
Moira is the victim of a hit and run on the soap. She is played by Natalie J. Robb.

Moira is left for dead at the side of the road after a hit and run, and Cain is convinced he knows who is responsible for what happened to her.
Malone became aware of Moira's knowledge about the blackmail, so Cain thinks he's to blame believing he wanted Moira silenced. But he has it wrong...
While Cain tries to figure it out and has his suspicions, Moira is in a bad state at the hospital - she is in an induced coma.
Currently we don't know if the character will make a full recovery as her condition is critical.
A panicked Cain secretly stays the night by Moira’s bed.
The real culprit of the hit and run is Jamie Tate, as spoiler images were released which showed him driving.
Jamie is then seen distressed and acting strangely, suggesting he feels guilt.
The accident happened because Jamie was in a hurry to find his wife, Andrea, and he carried on driving after knocking something down in a dark quiet road.
So far only Andrea knows the truth after Jamie confessed to her.
She's told him to lie and use her as an alibi, and is enjoying having this information over Jamie - Andrea forces him to end his affair or she'll reveal all.
Whether Cain will learn the truth or remain convinced it was Malone is yet to be known.

Jeff Hordley, who plays Cain, told the Radio Times: "Before the hit and run, Malone insinuated to Cain there was something going on with him and Moira.
"Cain was too busy arguing with her, accusing her of having this affair ... he ended up walking away and leaving her there [by the road].
"The next time he sees her, she’s in a hospital bed with life-threatening injures ... there’s also these feelings of guilt that he left her alone by the road and he could’ve helped her."
