Inside Corrie star Sally Ann Matthews’ family home with stunning parquet flooring, traditional library and skylights
SHE spends her onscreen life behind the bar at the Rover’s Return but Sally Ann Matthew’s real life home couldn’t be more different.
The Coronation Street actress - who plays Jenny Bradley on the soap – lives in a stunning family home in London with her husband Nick Rhodes and their sons Louis and James.
The gorgeous property features a huge open plan living area with immaculate looking parquet flooring throughout.
There are floor to ceiling sliding doors, which open up onto the garden area.
Sally has gone for traditional décor throughout and classic black and white paintings, framed in gold, are on the walls.
Continuing with that theme there is also a library, with plenty of books stacked up and a chic wooden desk.
There is also a large dining room table where the family can all congregate for a get to together.
Back in 2018, Sally’s son Louis hit the news when she revealed he had been targeted by moped muggers.
He was stopped by the yobs who demanded he hand over his bike close to a Tube station.
The actress said luckily the train doors opened just in time for him to run on with his bike and escape.
She shared on Twitter at the time: "To the group of youths on mopeds who approached my son outside the station and demanded his bike: Woe betide you if I get my hands on you, you little s**ts."
Jenny made her first appearance in Corrie in 1986 when she was fostered by Rita Fairclough (Barbara Knox).
She left in 1991 before coming back in 2015 when Jenny returned for four months after meeting Kevin Webster (Michael Le Vell) through internet dating, and they began a relationship.
She returned to the cobbles indefinitely in January 2016 and got engaged to Johnny Connor (Richard Hawley).
Sally - who also briefly appeared in Emmerdale - was left shocked when she found out Jenny was going to be the landlady in charge of the iconic boozer.
