Tom Ellis speaks for the first time about his split from Tamzin Outhwaite
ACTOR Tom Ellis has spoken about his split from Tamzin Outhwaite for the first time.
During an appearance on ITV talk show Lorraine, Tom told show host Lorraine Kelly: “Everyone’s OK and we’re all good and we’re all moving forward.”
Tom, 41, said he has been keeping busy with work, and said it is “a nice way to focus”.
In September 2013 Tamzin filed for divorce from Tom — citing adultery after he admitted cheating on her.
The former EastEnders star, 42, was devastated after he confessed to a one-night stand — thought to be with an actress — while filming Gothica in the States earlier this year.
Miranda actor Tom moved out of their home in North London a few weeks ago.
A source close to the couple, who have two girls aged four and one, said Tamzin “desperately tried to make it work”.
But she has filed for divorce after Tom said their seven-year marriage couldn’t be saved.
The source added: “Tamzin has cited adultery, so she will have a huge advantage when it comes to negotiations. Tom’s a reasonable bloke and as it’s pretty cut and dried they could be divorced within months.”
Tom and Tamzin wed in 2006 in Somerset, south west England, and have two daughters together, Florence, five, and 13-month-old Marnie Mae.
