DISNEYLAND has become a 'ghost town' with almost no queues for some of the most popular rides.
Thanks to the new Star Wars attraction as well as an Annual Pass holder 'blackout' month, it means the park is almost empty - with Disney fans encouraged to go now.
Star Wars: Galaxy's Edge opened on May 31, with more than 14 acres of rides and attractions and room for around 10,000 to 15,000 people.
However, fans flocking to the new land has resulted in the main park being almost empty, despite it being the busy summer season.
It isn't the only reason that the park is emptier than usual - Disneyland has also blocked Annual Passes from being used throughout the summer months thanks to a pass 'blackout', meaning pass holders who are affected are most likely not visiting.
According to , approximately one million people will be affected by this, resulting in less visitors until the end of August.
This has also meant short queues for popular rides that are normally extremely busy.
they went on Space Mountain three times in just 30 minutes - a ride where there are usually queues of over an hour.
Another that they hadn't seen the park that empty during opening hours since he "was a kid".
Most rides had queue times under 30 minutes, such as It's A Small World, Matterhorn Bobsleds and Guardians of the Galaxy - Mission: Breakout!.
, the average wait for Space Mountain was just 48 minutes instead of 62 minutes.
Splash Mountain has gone down from 49 minutes to just 28 minutes, while Indiana Jones and Matterhorn Bobsleds both were just 35 minutes compared to 46 minutes last year.
Another reason cited for the lack of queues is due to Disneyland's .
The project, which began earlier this year, has been working on crowd management schemes such as making the paths wider and banning large child strollers.
