HOLIDAYMAKERS looking for the perfect photo opportunity should head to some of the most beautiful floral locations around the world.
From the UK to California, there are an abundance of blooms to take advantage of.
Some locations are open fields for tourists to explore while others are working farms or homes, with a range of flowers blossoming throughout the year.
However, visitors are advised to check before visiting if tourists are welcome, as well as stick to the paths to avoid damaging the plants.

West Pentire, Cornwall, UK
For just a few weeks a year, a remote village in Cornwall is the perfect location for tourists and photographers thanks to the blooming poppies.
Often in June, the hamlet of West Pentire, near Newquay, is in full bloom with red poppies as well as yellow marigolds.
It is run by the , and welcomes visitors as it is not a farm and is naturally grown.
Tulip fields, Lisse, Amsterdam
The Dutch tulip fields in the Netherlands are some of the most famous around the world.
Their popularity has led to tourists being banned from some areas for trampling on the flowers for a photo.
However, respectful visitors should head to Lisse, a small town southwest of Amsterdam for some of the most colourful views.
Lavender fields, Provence, France
The best place to find lavender is in Provence in France, with regions including Luberon and Balensole the favourite to visit.
The ideal time to head to the region is between June and July, as most of the lavender is harvested by August.
It is also just a short drive from Marseilles.
Poppy fields, Lake Elsinore, California
Visitors flock to Lake Elsinore, located in California, for their famous orange poppies.
A 'super bloom' this year resulted in the canyon flowers being visible even from space, making it popular with tourists.
However, be respectful when visiting - the area was closed for a time by the local mayor after hundreds of thousands of people descended to visit, resulting in huge queues overtaking the tiny town.
Sunflower farms, Tuscany, Italy
While Tuscany is known for its Italian Renaissance artwork and architecture, it is also famed for it's sunflower fields.
Despite not being a specific area in Tuscany where they are common, the best time to go is around late June and early July.

The Flower Fields, Carlsbad, California
Opening just once a year between March and May, The Flower Fields in Carlsbad Ranch in California are popular thanks to the range of colourful flowers.
Having been cultivated for over 85 years, the Tecolote Giant Ranunculus is grown across 50 acres.
Floral fans can even get married there.
Bluebonnet fields, La Grange, Texas
Bluebonnets are the official state flower of Texas, meaning the blue flower can be found across the state.
One of the best places to head to is La Grange, a city between Houston and Austin.
Last year, it had one of the biggest Bluebonnet fields measuring over 10 acres, found near Farm to Market Road 609.
Hitachi Seaside Park, Japan
Hitachi Seaside Park is found in Ibaraki in Japan, just north of Tokyo.
The most famous flower to bloom is the blue nemophila, also known as Baby Blue Eyes in the spring, with millions across the park every year.
Flowers bloom for the entire year with wisteria along with red Kochia bushes later in the year.
Confetti Flower Field, Worcester, UK
Open for just a couple of days a year in late June to early July, the Confetti Flower Field is found in Worcester in the UK.
The farm is used for creating floral petal confetti for weddings, having been used for the wedding of Michael Douglas and Catherine Zeta Jones as well as Prince Charles and Camilla Parker Bowles.
Thousands of people flock to the farm during the few days it is open, but you'll have to be quick - this year it is open between June 21 and June 30.
Bluebell woods, UK
Across the UK, there are a number of stunning bluebell woods to explore with many of them being open for families and animals.
However, some of the best locations are in Greyfield Wood in Somerset and Duncliffe Wood in Dorset.
They are best visited during spring, with bluebells often blooming in April through to May.
