Jet2 has added Nando’s to its in-flight menu – and there are two snacks to choose from

JET2 has added a number of new Nando's snacks to their flights just in time for summer.

The in-flight menu now offers passengers two options infused with the famous peri-peri flavouring.

It is the first time that passengers will be able to enjoy a cheeky Nando's in the air.

Vegan passengers will be able to try the Nando's half-popped corn, which they describe as "fluffy popcorn meets crunchy corn".

A second option is the Nando's box, which includes salted pitta chips, houmous and a peri-peri drizzle.

Some of the Jet2 boxes will also include a free Nando's voucher to be used at restaurant chains in the UK.

It isn't the first airline to offer restaurant food on its flights.

In 2016, McDonald's teamed up with Canadian airline WestJet to launch a special in-flight collaboration menu.

However, fans were disappointed to learn that only the McDonald's coffee would be served on the flights, instead of the food options.

Making plane food taste good isn't easy, although experts found that wearing noise-cancelling headphones is a bizarre way to make it better.

Oxford professor Charles Spence explained how low-pitched noises can make food taste more bitter.

However, some plane food is just awful - and a number of passengers have shared the worst things they have been served during a flight.
