FOOTBALL fans looking to book a last-minute trip to Madrid for the Tottenham vs Liverpool final have been left bitterly disappointed by soaring costs.
Thankfully there are still a number of cheap package holiday deals for Spain over the weekend outside of Madrid, just a few hours by train ride.
Flight and hotel searches have increased by 500 per cent in the last week, according to , with furious Brits finding flights to Madrid, normally costing as little as £22 each way, as much as £750.

However, we've rounded up some of the best deals you can find in other Spanish destinations such as Valencia and Costa Blanca for under £400 including return flights.
Each destination is just a short train ride away from the match and won't break the bank.
A week in Valencia when staying at the Hugo Beach Hotel costs just £364 per person when travelling as a couple.
