THRILL seekers looking for the next big adventure can take their family to an exciting new waterpark in the Caribbean.

But there is a catch - you can only get there on a cruise ship.

The new Thrill Waterpark is part of the cruise company's , a private island in the Caribbean that's exclusively available to Royal Caribbean passengers.

Opening in May 2019, the new water park features a number of attractions that break records, including Daredevil's Peak, the highest waterslide in North America.

But if that's a bit too much for a young family, you can also try one of the 12 other slides as well as the splash pool for kids.

The Thrill Waterpark will also be home to the largest wave pool in the Caribbean and an adventure pool that's equipped with an obstacle course.

Elsewhere on the island, there's 1,600ft of zip line to explore and a helium balloon experience,

Of course, you can kick back from the action under the cabanas on site.

But if you're looking for a more relaxing experience, there are also lagoons and outdoor pools around the island.

The Oasis Lagoon features a swim up pool with lots of loungers for you to relax on.

There are also over-water cabins - the only ones in The Bahamas - that will be part of Coco Beach Club, which opens in December 2019.

Some of the experiences on Perfect Day at CocoCay will be free to cruises but others will incur and additional fee.

Full day experiences at the Thrill Waterpark cost between $44-$99 (£33-£75) while Zip Line and the Up, Up and Away helium balloon will cost extra as well.

Half day entries are also available, with wristbands allowing guests to enter and exit the park as often as they like.

Royal Caribbean cruises (£181pp) for three nights in the Bahamas with the Perfect Day stay.

There are also a number of with Royal Caribbean cruises currently on offer on the website.

Earlier this year, Royal Caribbean unveiled the longest waterslide at sea on their Navigator of the Seas cruise ship.

As part of the £88 million revamp, the 800-foot slide called The Blaster is the first of its kind.

The cruise liner also launched the "world's most expensive shopping trip" excursion costing passengers a whopping £26,000.
