ROYAL Caribbean have unveiled the longest waterslide at sea in the world following a $115 million (£88 million) revamp on their Navigator of the Seas cruise ship.
The 800 foot slide will feature on the ship when it launches again on February 24 later this year.
Called The Blaster, the slide will propel a two-person raft down the slide, with nerve-wracking sections sending guests over the side of the ship at speed.
Alongside the waterslide is its counterpart ride Riptide, where riders travel headfirst towards the bottom of the slide with ocean views thanks to the transparent sections of the flume.
The Blaster will be the longest in the world after beating the Vertigo on MSC Cruises’ Preziosa, measuring 394 foot.
The , which was the world's largest cruise ship between 2002 and 2005, will also include a number of new features following the million-dollar renovation.
Guests will be able to use the first standalone blow dry bar on the ship, with salon To Dry For offering hair and nail treatments.
A glow in the dark laser tag experience called Planet Z can also be enjoyed on board, along with The Observatorium escape room for all the family.
Other improvements include a two-level signature cocktail bar as well as new restaurants featuring Mexican, Polynesian and Italian cuisine.
The ship will also be the first Royal Caribbean ship to travel to the private island Perfect Day at CocoCay, featuring a number of new attractions.
The private island will offer Thrill Waterpark, home to 13 waterslides, the largest freshwater pool in the Caribbean as well as activities including paddle-boarding and glass-bottom kayaking.
Royal Caribbean have just launched their latest sale which to spend on the ship when they book a holiday before January 29 to a number of destinations.
They currently have other offers for Brits looking to book their next holiday in 2019.
All-inclusive holidays around Oman and the UAE are on sale for just £607pp for a seven-night cruise, as well as Western Caribbean cruises from just £319pp.
Mini cruise holidays are also on sale with trips around Rome, Paris and Brudge costing just £346pp.
Some of the most incredible cruise ships have revealed the newest additions to their fleet this year.
Norwegian Encore unveiled a go-kart track on the ship to launch later this year, while Royal Caribbean's Spectrum of the Seas will feature a robotic bartender and skydive simulator.
MSC Bellissima will feature two brand new Cirque du Soleil shows at sea on board the ship.
