The best non-EU holidays for 2019 – as ‘Brexit-proof’ all-inclusive breaks soar in popularity

BREXIT is influencing where we’re going on holiday with many Brits worried about costs to holidays to countries that are on the Euro.

Love Holidays conducted a survey of 18-34 year olds, and 25 per cent said that Brexit will impact their holiday-making decisions next year.

Brits are increasingly plumping for “Brexit-proof” all-inclusive holidays to countries that aren’t on the Euro as it will save them cash when they are away.

Overall, searches on the website for all-inclusive holidays are up 55 per cent year-on-year.

Searches for breaks to Turkey are up by 71 per cent, with searches for Morocco and Egypt up by 32 per cent.

Turkey

Bulgaria isn't on the Euro, which makes it a very cheap option for Brits with decent exchange rates and was found to be the cheapest place for Brits to go on holiday earlier this year.

Research by M&S Bank has shown that holidays for families are cheaper by 1.4 per cent this year than in 2017, a saving of £56, with Sunny Beach in Bulgaria coming out on top.

Bulgaria was also featured as the cheapest destination for Brits by the Post Office Travel Money Holiday Costs Barometer, which compares costs in 19 European beach resorts.
