Ryanair passengers complain they can’t check-in online or print boarding passes
The airline charges £20 for a 'boarding card reissue fee' for passengers who haven't got theirs with them
RYANAIR customers have complained that the airline’s website isn’t letting them print their boarding passes after check-in.
The computer glitch has been worrying passengers, because it is airline policy to charge a “boarding card reissue fee” of £20 to passengers who haven’t brought a printed boarding pass with them to the airport.
Twitter user Zuzla91 wrote: “What a joke. Can't even get my boarding pass. Fix it, please.
“They don’t even bother to inform customers their systems are down.”
Another passenger called Michael Nash wrote on Twitter: “@Ryanair I am trying to check in to my flight that leaves in four hours, and the website and mobile app is not allowing me to check in properly.
“The website does not generate a boarding pass for me, and when I go back to my bookings it still says I have not checked in.”
Meanwhile, another traveller who goes by the username Birchfest tweeted: “So both times I’ve been told check in successful and no form of boarding pass is available.
“Please can you get back to me, I don’t want to arrive and have to argue not to pay you late check-in fee when I’ve been spending almost an hour trying to do it.”
Sun Online Travel has contacted Ryanair for comment.
Last month Ryanair's website crashed, leaving customers unable to check in for their flights or print their boarding passes.
A message on the airline’s website initially incorrectly read “due to an upgrade, our website and app is down from 6.30pm Wed until 4:00am Thursday November 8."

It continued: “Apologies to all customers but we will be back shortly.”
But passengers were quick to point out that the day before was November 13 and the airline had got the date wrong.
He wasn't the only passenger to complain about the website being down.
