CROWNING GLORY

Now ADULTS are getting those princess makeovers at Disney World

For the full princess makeover that includes hair, makeup, and nail designs, grown-up customers pay $120 (£95)

EVEN if you’re now 35 with a day job and rent to pay – your dreams of becoming a princess aren’t yet over.

At Walt Disney World in Florida, grown women are now paying to be transformed into princesses for the day.

The makeovers used to be solely for kids, but much like those trainers with wheels in the heels, scooters and giant ball pits – adults want in on this child's play too.

The Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique, which only used to makeover little kids, has now extended their range.

Kids can choose a hairstyle then add make-up, nail colour and accessories—even a Disney princess costume.

Adults can also buy one of the pampering packages, although they don’t yet seem to have costumes big enough for the grown-up customers – so they have to bring their own.

Guest services manager Joseph Motowidlak told Today: “We saw that our guests were coming up with outfits and entire ensembles inspired by Disney characters.

“We really saw a need for some kind of transformative makeover experience for people of all ages — something customised to allow guests to really enjoy their day on our property.”

“Our stylists have an extensive color palette to work with and clients get to talk through their vision for their look with their stylist — whether
that's something subtle or more dramatic. Truly, the sky is the limit."

For the full princess makeover that includes hair, makeup, and nail designs, adult customers pay $120 (£95).

That's the not the only newish addition to Disney World getting adults hot under the collar.

Last summer the theme park introduced a 'Strawberry Shiraz wine slushie'.

Amorette’s Patisserie - a French-themed patisserie in Disney Springs is selling the slushie, made with wine and strawberries.

The patisserie is also selling a mango Muscat slushie, which consists of white wine, mango and ice.

Both drinks can be bought for $8 (£6).

The genius of the wine slushie doesn't just lie in the taste, booze content and the refreshing ice though.

Its deceptive appearance means that a frazzled parent could reasonably expect to stroll through the park with a slush puppy in hand without raising any eyebrows.
