Disneyland fans call for theme park’s queuing system to be scrapped
Visitors to Disneyland seem to have one thing they all agree on that they dislike - the long queues, which people often push into
VISITORS to Disneyland in California are calling for the existing queue system to be ditched because people keep pushing in.
Disney has a Fast Pass system that allows people to go away and come back only when it’s time for their ride, but they also run standby queues that cheeky guests regularly try and cut.
The reports: “Some people don’t wait in the lines. They cut them, and that’s become an ongoing source of frustration for parks and other fans over the years.
“Almost no parks assign employees to patrol queues for jumping.
“Employees have other things to do, and no park is going to take one visitor’s word against another in throwing someone out of the park. So people get away with it.”
The length of these queues is also a problem regularly commented on by park visitors on Twitter.
There are now calls for these standby queues to be scrapped entirely in favour of virtual queues, with Fast Pass being the only method of queuing in future.
It says that it's a "no brainer" for the parks to get rid of standby queues as it would free up space for more rides and shops.
If you do find yourself stuck in a long queue though, Sun Online Travel previously revealed that there's a secret free Disney attraction in the parks which will help pass the time.
You can play Sorcerers of the Magic Kingdom at Walt Disney World and it will stop children from ever being fed up while they wait to ride their favourite rollercoaster.

And even better is that this secret game is completely free.
But you’ll have to be in the know to join in with the game – as many people at the parks won’t even know that it even exists.
Sun Online Travel also revealed the best way to snag yourself a cut-price Disney holiday, included discounted food and drink.
