So forking out hundreds extra on food and drink once you're inside the park can seem unfair.
Disney does undeniably good grub, with huge teams working daily to concoct new inventions that keep guests interested.
But it comes at a price, as food easily costs more than $10 per person at each meal, even if you eat at the take-away restaurants.
There is an easy way to cut down on these costs though, bring your own.
According to one former staff member, even though Disney might not shout about it, it is perfectly acceptable to bring a whole cool box full of drinks and snacks with you into the park.
Former Walt Disney World cast member John Quagliano : "Most people don't realise that you can physically bring in an entire cooler full of snacks, water, whatever you want."
According to John, who used to work near the storage area where guests would leave their cool boxes, a staff member would tag each box with the visitor's details and they could come back to it whenever they wanted.
He said: "You can come back at any time of the day and pick up your water and your food and save yourself a ton of money throughout the day."
A decent-sized cool box can be picked up for as - and there are plenty of budget supermarkets to pick up groceries in both the US and France.

A family of four can save up to £2,000 on Disney World 2019 trips with the package.
It allows guests booked to eat at over 100 locations around Walt Disney World Orlando Resort at no extra charge if they are staying in one of the resort's hotels.
