Disney keeps selling out of THIS gift at its parks – but what is it?
Disneyland visitors are itching to get their hands on these Mickey Mouse-shaped popcorn holders
IF you’re heading to Disneyland then you’ll have a wish list of what you want to buy in the gift shops.
But it’s not Mickey Mouse ears that are currently selling quickest in the parks – it’s actually popcorn holders.
The Disney Food Blog reports that the yellow Mickey Mouse-shaped holders are hot property at Disneyland right now and have been selling out in “several locations”.
The holders have been around for years and are often reincarnated in different colours - but the current version are proving very popular.
Heather Sievers runs an Instagram account called @diningindisney where she reports on her favourite food from the Disney parks.
She wrote: "I spotted them at both Small World mall and near Matterhorn popcorn carts, but they were already sold out in Frontierland and going quick everywhere else."
They even come on a strap, so you can be hands-free and able to dip into your popcorn at all times.
The popcorn buckets come in at $15 (£10.63) – but sadly, they’re non-refillable at the park.
This will mean a lot of wasted plastic if you want more than one serving of popcorn.
Sun Online Travel previously revealed that the food at Disney is going to cost up by 133 per cent.
Diners at the Be Our Guest restaurant can no longer order a la carte and will have to have a set menu instead - with a fixed price.
The three-course dinner includes options like French onion soup, charred octopus and fillet mignon steak.
Disney says: “Our chefs are hard at work putting the final touches on… the kids’ menu.”
