This looks like the perfect place to implement a bit of Còsagach – the Scottish version of the Danish Hygge.

VisitScotland – the tourism board for Scotland has identified ‘Còsagach’ as the new ‘It trip’ for the next 12 months – aka the Scottish version of Hygge.

According to them, Còsagach is based on an old Scottish word for feeling snug, sheltered and warm.

Ignoring the fact that some have questioned if this is even a real word (some Gaellic speakers say it actually means “a damp mossy place”), the Scots really are excellent at being snug.

If this one isn't quite what youare looking for  - this island in the Shetlands also recently went up for sale for a similar price.
