While purists may protest at the new format, for most it is a reminder of just how charming the story of Peter and his long-eared comrades is.

Helm Lune, near Bowness-on-Windermere
Filming for the new Peter Rabbit movie took place around Windermere and Ambleside very near to the popular World of Beatrix Potter attraction in Bowness-on-Windermere.
Just three-quarters of a mile from the town is which sleeps five people in two bedrooms and has a price range of £300-£915. It's part of Helm Farm which has three other cottages that can be booked together for up to 15 people.
What is there to do in the Lake District?
Child and buggy-friendly walks
There are more than 40 easy walks in the Lake District for families with young children. Try Scout Scar near Kendal for miles and miles from the sea to the mountains.
Elterwater to Skelwith Bridge in the Langdales features waterfalls, woods and refreshments at either end of the walk.
Tarn Hows near Coniston is a circular walk around a beautiful tarn with views of mountains beyond and lots of woods to play in.
Treetop Trek at Brockhole
is an exhilarating adventure in the trees, just next to Windermere.
It features 35 challenges including climbing, balancing and swinging along the ropes course before zipping down a 250m zip wire, the experience is thrilling for kids and adults alike to enjoy together.

On the shores of Lake Windermere, the offer a range of incredible outdoor activities.
On the lake itself, visitors can go canoeing, paddle boarding and sailing all with a private instructor and equipment provided.
