RYANAIR might have been struggling this Christmas season, but many other airlines are feeling the festive spirit.
Alaska Airlines started early, by offering priority boarding to any passengers wearing their ugliest festive jumper on Christmas Jumper Day, December 15.
Other airlines are embracing the seasonal spirit with some festive in-flight menu offerings to make a plane journey more exciting.
Sweet-toothed travellers on Norwegian are offered a Christmas pudding flavoured cookie with mixed spices to have alongside their meal, while savoury fans can also purchase a festive sandwich from the in-flight menu.
Singapore Airlines is going one further and offering a three course Christmas dinner to all passengers.
Economy flyers can have a traditional Christmas Roast and a Yuletide Log Cake to finish, whilst First Class get a Three Bird Christmas Roast and an Eggnog shot.
With kids getting the most joy out of the magic of Christmas, Emirates not only offer Christmas meals, but also a "Noel the polar bear" toy to entertain any restless young travellers.
Virgin has gone similarly OTT with their festive grub.
Everyone from Upper Class to Economy passengers flying on Christmas Day are given a Christmas dinner option, as well as a mince pie chocolate bar and an extra surprise treat.
The airline has also changed the black and silver aeroplane salt and pepper shakers that they offer in Upper Class to a festive Virgin Red.
Staff are actively encouraging passengers to nick them as a momento too.
EasyJet is also getting in on the action, launching more than 100 flights across Europe over the festive period that include a surprise visit from Father Christmas on-board.

Travellers attempting to celebrate Christmas in the air should also take note regarding certain items that are banned on flights.
Christmas crackers can be classed as explosive, meaning most airlines prohibit them from being brought on board.
Snow globes being brought home as a gift are classed as both liquid and glass, so could be stopped at security as well.
