Live out your Top Gun dreams by taking control of a FIGHTER JET above London – no experience required!
During the jet flight with MiGFlug , passengers even get the chance to perform manoeuvres like loops, rolls, immelman turns and split-s
TOP Gun 2 is on its way, reigniting the dreams of millions of aviation geeks about becoming a fighter pilot.
But there is a much easier way to live out your Maverick fantasy – there’s a company that lets novices fly fighter jets over London.
MiGFlug works with defence departments, airforces and military or warbird pilots across the world, who let them take out two-seated fighter jets for demos.
One seat is taken by the pilot and the other seat is taken by the passenger – who then gets to take the controls when they are up in the air.
During the jet flight, passengers even get the chance to perform manoeuvres like loops, rolls, immelman turns and split-s.
Depending on the aircraft and location, spectacular low-passes above the airfield as well as supersonic flights are also possible.
The company operates across the globe, everywhere from New York and Florida to Spain and Paris.
In the UK, passengers can only pick one experience, flying the modern version of the British jet trainer legend Jet Provost - the BAC Jet Provost T.5A.
The Jet Provost used to be the military jet trainer of the Royal Air Force and was in service with the armed forces from 1955 to 1993.
With a maximum speed of 440mph, the Jet Provost was used as an aerobatic aircraft, for tactical weapons training, air warfare training and advanced training.

The attack version, the BAC 176 Strikemaster, took part in Wars in Ecuador, Yemen and Oman.
Sitting side-by-side with the pilot, the passenger experiences a flight over London and then low level flying over the English coast.
The package doesn’t come cheap though – while the entire experience takes around three hours, the actual flight lasts for 30 minutes and it costs £1,750.
