Forget Rich Kids of Instagram – DJs travel the world better than anyone… and they love to show off online
DJs are the new rock stars, with a globetrotting lifestyle full of private jets and five-star hotels
THESE days DJs are the new rock stars, commanding huge fees for playing at gigs across the globe.
As well as millions in the bank, the deck spinners get to travel in the height of luxury.
You might be mistaken for assuming the life of a DJ and music producer is spent indoors, working nights and sleeping all day.
But the sensible stars take advantage of their international work schedule, treating it like a never-ending holiday.
A quick glimpse at any high-flying DJ’s social media pages reveals a world of private jets, five-star hotels and super yachts.
Forget the Rich Kids Of Instagram, the rich DJs of Instagram are where the real holiday FOMO is at.
The likes of Diplo to Skrillex and Maya Jane Coles have millions of followers between them, who follow their increasingly glamorous travels.
Whether they are on top of a mountain in the Andes or on a yacht in Miami, every picture attracts hundreds or thousands of likes.
Read on to check out some of the best DJ Instagram accounts for travel inspiration…

The music star takes 320 flights a year, according to GQ and has completed around 5,000 trips during his 10-year career.
He admits that he is extremely picky when it comes to hotels nowadays though, preferring a venue with no carpets and a large swimming pool for swimming laps.
And if a room has ever been used for a smoking guest, even many years ago, it is a complete no-no.
The Chainsmokers
The Chainsmokers shot to fame with the track #selfie in 2014, so it's unsurprising that their Instagram page is littered with picture of themselves in exotic places.
The DJ and production duo Andrew Taggart and Alex Pall have more than four million followers on the social media site.
Recent glamorous locations visited by the fun-loving pair include Malta and Argentina.
They also have a residency at the glamorous tourist hot spot Las Vegas, with the Wynn hotel group.

His trick for avoiding jet lag is to go jogging two or three times a week and he also built a recovery room in his house, where he can chill out with video games and movies.
Surprisingly though, the star reveals that he flies Economy when travelling in Europe and also liimts himself to hand luggage if he can help it.
Steve Aoki
Steve Aoki is one an electro house DJ and music producer who has worked with everyone from Will.i.am to Louis Tomlinson.
The music star worked 361 days last year, travelling around the world to different gigs and music studios.
