Passengers on TAP Portugal flight claim they were given just ONE glass of water while cabin crew ate hot food

Drinks and meals were scrapped on the 2hr 5min flight from Lisbon to Milan because of a reduced cabin crew

NEXT time you complain about the drink and food selection on board your flight, remember these poor passengers who claim they had to endure a two-hour flight with just one glass of water each.

The customers were waiting to board a 2hr 5min flight with TAP Portugal from Lisbon to Milan when they were informed that the trip would be operating with a reduced cabin crew.

According to Lucky who runs the blog and was on the flight, that this would affect normal service and that they would not be given the usual meal on the flight.

He said: “My assumption was that maybe they wouldn’t do the full service in Economy (maybe only drinks of choice and not whatever food they’d usually serve), but I figured they’d still serve something in Business Class.

“Nope. Instead the crew passed through Economy with water cups shortly after take-off, and then came through Business Class with glasses of water or orange juice - that was the extent of the service.”

When Lucky asked if he could have a second glass of water, he claims he was turned down.

Passengers then smelled food being heated up and hoped that they would be served their meals after all – but according to reports, the dishes were then eaten by the crew.

Lucky said: “The crew spent the rest of the flight in the galley eating, talking, and reading.

“The next time we saw them was when the cabin had to be prepared for landing, and the curtains were no longer blocking the galley.”
