Toddler was forced to wet herself on an Air Canada flight after cabin crew banned her using the Business Class toilet
The toddler was then forced to walk to the toilet at the back of Economy, but a drinks trolley was blocking the aisle
A GRANDMOTHER has made an official complaint to Air Canada after her grandchild was forced to wet herself on a flight after being banned from the Business Class toilets.
The woman had been sat at the front of Economy and had already used the toilets in the neighbouring cabin with the toddler, but a flight attendant then blocked a further trip.
Stacey Osmond and her granddaughter Ruby were flying with the airline from Nova Scotia to Calgary and their booking agent had placed them in the front section of Economy so that they would be near the loos.
But mid-way into the a five-and-a-half hour flight, a flight attendant told Stacey that the child could no longer use the Business Class toilets.
She told : "The second or third time I tried to take Ruby to the bathroom, the flight attendant told me, 'I can't have you coming up here anymore.'
"I said, 'She's a baby. I was given those seats by a booking agent for that reason, so that she would be close to the bathroom.’”
The next time Ruby needed the toilet they were forced to walk to the back of the cabin, but unfortunately a drinks trolley was blocking the aisle and the toddler wet herself.
Her grandmother then had to lay out a blanket of paper towels on the aeroplane seat so that she could sit down.
Stacey said: "I sat there, still having to play with Ruby with a smile on my face, while I was just full of anger because of this woman, especially after she peed in her pants.”
