The 64 new laws that will get tourists in Magaluf into trouble… including a fine of up to £524 for climbing a TREE
The list of rules includes everything from dropping cigarettes in the street and using soap in the beach showers to balconing
BRITISH holidaymakers who misbehave in Magaluf this summer could see themselves slapped with fines of up to 3,000 euros.
Sixty-four new rules have been passed that prohibit bad behaviour among boozy tourists, after locals called for more action to curb the antisocial incidents that occur every summer.
Sun Online has published a list of the rules below and they include everything from dropping cigarettes in the street to balconing – a practice where people jump from balconies into swimming pools.
The list of crimes carry varying fines, depending on whether they are considered "minor" (100 euros to 599 euros), "serious" (600 euros to 1,499 euros) or "very serious" (1,500 euros to 3,000 euros).
For example, climbing a tree, shining a laser and using soap in the public showers will result in a 100 to 599 euro offence.
Meanwhile, defecating in the street is given a 600 to 1,499 euro fine and supplying alcohol to under 18s is given a 1,500 to 3,000 euro fine.
The list of rules, which were passed by the local council late last year, appear to have done little to deter rowdy behaviour in the hotspots of Mallorca, including Magaluf.

Recently, 18 Brits were fined 200 euros each for streaking along the seafront.
England and Scotland football fans were also involved in a late-night brawl.
As the summer season swings into action, tourists have been photographed drunk and sick in the streets, brawling, boozing and streaking, everything tourism chiefs have been trying to stamp out.
Calvia council, which covers most of the tourist resorts where the trouble has been breaking out, says it is to take action but wants everyone to help.
And the association which represents businesses in the tourist sector has now called for zero tolerance to what it describes as the "degradation" of Magaluf and its surrounding areas.
"Following these incidents, we have offered our help to the Mayor of Calvia," said a spokesman for ACOTUR.
The authorities in Calvia have also promised more police on the streets.
