On the Beach are bringing back their Price Drop Protection deal

The scheme guarantees the lowest price for a 2025 summer holiday, and will pay the difference if the price becomes lower after booking.

Sharnjeet Gill, from Watford, booked a family holiday with her husband and two children to Centara Mirage in Dubai via On the Beach.

The trip, a seven-night stay in May, ended up being £572.76 cheaper after she booked it – and was refunded the full amount.

Saying it felt “too good to be true,” the 43-year-old added: “It’s rare to find companies that honour price drops after a purchase.

“I will likely put it towards a holiday this year, as it feels like an unexpected bonus that makes another trip more affordable.”

Sharnjeet was also happy that the scheme offers her “peace of mind”.

She continued: “I know that if the price drops after customers book, they’ll get the difference back.

“It removes the worry of booking too early and missing out on better deals later.

“I’d definitely encourage anyone thinking about booking to take advantage of it as it effectively guarantees customers the lowest deal.”

Sharnjeet isn’t the only one to have saved with the On the Beach offer.

Holidaymaker Lisa Wilkinson, 42, claimed back £370.81 when the price fell after booking.

Lisa, from Somerset, booked a family holiday with her husband and two children to Egypt and was thrilled to get back some cash ahead of her summer break later this year.

She said: “We knew about the initiative and it gave us complete reassurance when we booked.

“I checked the price every day and was relieved when the price dropped as I knew I’d be getting the credit back. We’ll likely put it towards a big holiday for next year!”

The offer is available to use on all holidays for summer 2025 booked through the On the Beach platform.

So, if you book a holiday and see the price drop between booking and 60 days before departure, you can claim back the difference.

And it doesn’t even matter how much the price drops by – they will honour it.

Then claim the difference back, and it will appear as credit towards your next holiday.

Tips for a stress-free holiday with kids

PARENTS have been told the three ways in which they can make family holidays with kids so much easier.

Three experts have weighed in with their advice on what to do in order to make your getaways as stress-free as possible.

Family holidays are always exciting but having kids of a certain age can mean that things are more difficult than they need to be.

Thanks to , here are three ways that those with young toddlers can have the best holiday possible.

Clarisse Chapolard, who is responsible for overseeing and caring for Club Med’s customers, says that booking off-peak flights ensures a quieter plane and airport – providing a more comfortable experience.

“Staff will generally be more available to help too,” she adds. “Flights can be the biggest headache with small children, so travel short-haul where possible.”

Clarisse also recommends making sure there are activities nearby to your accommodation to keep toddlers happy.

Having a child-friendly hotel can make the world of difference to your family holiday, especially when parents are looking for some time to themselves.

Founder and chief executive of Martinhal Resorts, Chitra Stern, said: “Accommodation needs to be child-friendly and safe, but also stylish and comfortable for parents.”

Finding somewhere with bed protectors, stair gates, steps in the bathrooms and furniture with round edges will prevent any unnecessary injuries or accidents.

Alan Cross, director of travel agent relationships for Jet2holidays, has recommended parents to look at package holidays for peace of mind, ease and assurance.

“Families with toddlers may appreciate dedicated facilities like kids’ clubs, children’s pools, creches, playgrounds, cots and highchairs,” he said.

Package deals can also include free child places, single-parent deals and discount codes, catering for more than a standard family of four.
